  2. The Funder is The Office of the Retirement Commissioner trading as Te Ara Ahunga Ora Retirement Commission (“Funder”, “Te Ara Ahunga Ora”).

Available grants

  1. Grants of between $100-$1000 are available for community groups to apply for. Smaller grant amounts are more likely to be offered than higher amounts nearing the $1000 cap to enable more community initiatives to take place. A total pool of $10,000 is available, with $5000 of this pool earmarked to initiatives that are targeted at lifting the financial wellbeing of women, thanks to the support of Empower Women. The grant funding will be awarded to the chosen initiatives that have been planned in accordance with the requirements of these terms and conditions and the application form on Te Ara Ahunga Ora’s website (the “fund”). Te Ara Ahunga Ora reserves the right to amend the grant amounts and cap the funding higher or lower to best suit the initiatives requested funding for.

How to apply

  1. To apply for the Fund, the community group must complete the application form. An application will only be valid if all steps have been completed. Entries must be submitted to Te Ara Ahunga Ora by 23:59hrs on Monday 10 June 2024 (the “Promotion Period”).
